What Happened

Went there with 4 others late, about 9:30. Was told it would be a 30-min wait, at which point we talked among ourselves and decided to go somewhere else, at which point the host said he'd very kindly -- hint, hint, for a tip -- give us a table that had a "Reserved" sign on it. Then the wine advice was horrible -- as was the wine (a bottle we sent back, and re-ordered something we knew, for double the money).

I Spoke With

No one. Too awkward given the situation

What It Would Take to Resolve This

Get rid of the host or practice (or pay him more so he doesn't have to resort to shenanigans to get his pocket greased) and get different wines.
